Start a Donation Drive for Angie’s Kitchen

Why Host a Drive?

Bring your community together to support Atlanta families in need

Make an immediate impact with food, clothing, and essentials

Raise awareness about homelessness and food insecurity

Rally your school, church, business, or neighborhood to help fight hunger and homelessness in Atlanta!
Hosting a donation drive is an easy and powerful way to make a difference. We'll help you every step of the way!

Step 1: Choose Your Drive Type

 Popular Drive Ideas:

  • Clothing & Hygiene Drive: Collect new and gently used adult clothing, winter coats, socks, undergarments, backpacks, belts, shoes, and personal hygiene items (like body wash, toothpaste, razors, and toothbrushes).
  • Food Drive: Collect pantry staples, canned goods, rice, pasta, peanut butter, snack items, and disposable food containers.

[See our Food Donation List Here]

Step 2: Set Your Dates

Choose a start and end date that gives your participants enough time to donate. We recommend running drives for 2–4 weeks

Step 3: Spread the Word

Use posters, flyers, email blasts, and social media to invite your community to donate!

We’ll provide digital flyers you can customize with your group’s information.

Step 4: Collect and Celebrate!

Set up a collection spot at your location and start gathering items.
Encourage your group by sharing photos of donations coming in, milestones ("50 coats collected!"), and thank-you notes.

Step 5: Drop Off Your Donations

When your drive ends, please coordinate a drop-off time with the Angie’s Kitchen team. We accept donations by appointment only to ensure staff is available to receive and sort items properly.

To schedule your drop-off, contact us at 404-287-8292 or helen@angieskitchen.org.

Donation Drop-Off Address:
True Worship Christian Fellowship Church
2033 Joseph E Boone Blvd NW
Atlanta, GA 30314

Drop-off Hours:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
